Ahhhh, Louis....you will be missed!! You couldn't meet a more personable guy from this fan's point of view. Louis was never too busy for a photo or autograph, and nobody could get the crowd behind them more than when Louis started throwing punches. GC will not be the same without him or another Bears favorite, Freddy Cassivi. Best wishes to both of them in Europe!

Agreed. Personally, the stupid nonsense talk about Louie in the Pennlive forum is absolutely ridiculous also. Louie did play hard and I will sure miss him! He was definitely one of my favorites on the team! Good luck to him, Lauren and baby Kayden!

AMEN TO THAT! I'll never understand the Louis hatred that some people have. Louis plays hard and he doesn't give up. The last game in the playoffs last season in the third period when it seemed like the air was let out of the team Louis was still trying to get things fired up. The guy plays with heart and will be missed by MOST bears fans. I wonder if the Louis bashers ever met Louis because everytime I spoke with him he was so nice. My 11 year old daughter is a big Louis fan and he was always so sweet to her.

I just want to make something clear. Louis is my friend as are most of the guys I have played with and some that I have played against. When I post about someone in particular this is not an invitation to cut them up or offer your negative opinions of them. I also met Martie and Louis at autograph night. Both were very nice, and very friendly. I will miss Louis, he made me laugh with his little dance he did. It seems that alot of players that spend time together on a team build up a great friendship that lasts no matter where you play, and that is great to hear. I think you having this blog is a great idea. Thank you.

Thanks for the info on Martin. I was wondering what he's been doing and if he was playing anywhere. I did get the chance to meet him when he played here in Hershey and I agree with you. He is a great guy and always friendly to the fans. I took a look at the V:King website. That game does look like fun however knowing my family like I do we would be throwing the those wooden battle axes at each other before the game was over. Oh well, I'll probably order one anyway.
Louis to Italy..wow! I knew he probably wouldn't be back this year but I thought maybe he would be playing for Philly or Norfolk. I'll miss Louis. He was always very entertaining. Should be quiet in the locker room this year, huh?
